St. John the Baptist School embraces students with learning differences in a Christ-centered environment. Students are given the accommodations and differentiated learning strategies needed to be successful in the general education classroom. When students need extra support, the resource room offers individual and small group instruction to meet the needs of the individual student.

St. John the Baptist employs two full time teaching staff and a part-time teacher. The staff works closely with the classroom teacher and parents to find the path to success for each student. Below you will find brief biographies of our resource team.
My name is Christin Eberhard and it is such an honor to be a part of our Resource program here at St. John the Baptist. I attended the University of Southern Indiana where I received a Bachelor’s in Education in 2005 with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Special Education. I have since spent time teaching special education in both Vanderburgh and Warrick Counties as well as some time at home with our three children. All three now call themselves St. John Tigers and I could not be more excited to be able to do the same. I have a passion for helping students discover all of the amazing gifts that God uniquely created each one of them with. I can’t wait to see what exciting things God has in store for me and your children this year!
My name is Lisa Mohr. I am so excited to be joining the Resource Team at SJB this year! I taught Special Education in both East Chicago and Indianapolis before moving to Newburgh and taking time off to be home with my children. While I have enjoyed being home, I have missed being in the classroom. Being able to join the staff at my children’s school is such a blessing! I cannot wait to see all the amazing ways God will work in the lives of our students this year, and I am privileged to be a small part of their journey. Go Tigers!!!
My name is Emily Schnapf. I am excited to be a part of the SJB Family. I went to Mater Dei High School and then attended the University of Southern Indiana. I got my bachelor's degrees in Elementary Education and Special Education. After graduating from USI, I worked at Christ the King School as the Special Education teacher. I then received my Masters in Special Education from Indiana Wesleyan University. I love the blessings and challenges of being a teacher and am very blessed to have such amazing students. Helping students grow in a faith-based educational environment is my ultimate goal.
